It is best if you have a boat operators license to rent, but if not there is a work around. Our full day rental starts at 8:00 am & ends at 8:00 pm and our half day rental is for 5 straight
hours starting in the morning or after-
noon. Morning renters must return by
2 pm so the afternoon renter can go out.
We offer 17 foot Alumarine Boats equipped with 2019 30 hpr Yamaha motors that seat 5 and will get you anywhere on the lake in 20 minutes or so. Whether you're itching to get to Rangers Bay and throw out a line as quickly as possible or if a leisurely trawl along the scenic shores is your cup of tea, we have the boat for you. Our boats have a steering wheel for those folks that are not comfortable with opposite turn of a tiller steer boat and if you don't fish they are a great option for a tour to one of Lac Des Iles' many secluded beaches. If you've been waiting all year to catch a few, then our super quiet Yamaha four-strokes are sure to help you land a few nice ones. Scroll down and take a look.

Renting a Boat:
In 2001 Transport Canada introduce the Boat Operators License: If you're a Canadian, we do hope you have one by now, but if not there is an alternative. If you're not a Canadian or have just never felt the need to get a license, you can still rent a boat. Come into the store the night before and we can go over and fill out a "Boat Safety Check List." It does take a bit of your valuable vacation time, so if you're planning to rent or operate a boat on more than one occasion please go to one of the Canadian Boater Exam sites and get your license.
Our new 30 hpr Yamaha's are mounted on a Canadian made 17.5 foot Alumarine boat. Many of the outfitters in the Northwest Territories use this same rig. Super light and stable, they can handle the wind and get you to Rangers Bay in 15.
